About
Artist Statement
I first dove into the world of performing in 2008 and it wasn’t long before I realised that it was exactly what I wanted to do. Since then, I have worked with a plethora of performance companies such as The Belgrade Theatre and Ego performance Company, on a wide range of projects, all of which push me to be more creative each time.
My specialities lay in physical theatre and contemporary theatre. Over my university career doing a BA in drama and acting (The University of the West of England) and then an MA in contemporary performance (Manchester Metropolitan University) my eyes have been opened to many different styles of theatre.

Whilst I feel my strengths lean towards more abstract theatre, I also have a wide understanding of traditional theatre styles too. Alongside my theatrical work, I am also trained in both Contemporary Dance and Ballet (Orme School of Dance). Having had a dance background allows me to use my body and musicality to my advantage in performance, creating exciting hands-on projects.

Because of my multidisciplinary background, I have needed to provide everything I need in order to create my work. I wear many hats, technician, set maker, costume designer, audio-visual designer and performer.
