On this page you can see my tour pack for my upcoming project Earthworm.

Earthworm 22/23
A performance as research project led by Katie McChleery with the aim to give accessible arts to people of a lower economic background.
Project profile
There is an inherent problem with the type of art that is accessible to people of a lower economic background.
Many people don't have the resources to get into performance. Maybe the local theatre group's fees are too high, or the local dance company requires you to have access to multiple pairs of dance shoes.
Along-side opening this dialogue I want to give these people the chance to explore their creativity through the arts. I want to run free masterclasses and invite those who have a real keen desire for what my project is about.
The performances that will run at the end of the project will be inspired by different skills I've learned along the way. However, it will still hold true to my practice, contemporary movement.

Programme notes
The story follows three women Carla, Jo and Hattie whose paths cross at a homeless shelter. It is a contemporary, physical theatre piece that aims to show some of the harsh realities many people face. These three women have completely different backgrounds, yet their personalities compliment each other well. The story is explored through many different media styles.
